Montco man gets jail for fatal shooting inside church
Mark Storms of Lansdale is led out of court in handcuffs Tuesday, after a Montgomery County judge sentenced him to 10 to 20 years in prison for shooting and killing Robert Braxton III at a church in Montgomery Township during Sunday worship services.
He just lost his appeal to change his sentence. The ruing is a good read:
- You need to have more tools/skills than just a firearm.
- A firearm is not a magic wand that will solve all problems or make all foes yield.
- Only use deadly force to SAVE a life.
- Your past actions & statements will be used in a court case, for better or worse.
