Montco man gets jail for fatal shooting inside church

Mark Storms of Lansdale is led out of court in handcuffs Tuesday, after a Montgomery County judge sentenced him to 10 to 20 years in prison for shooting and killing Robert Braxton III at a church in Montgomery Township during Sunday worship services.

He just lost his appeal to change his sentence.  The ruing is a good read:

Take aways:

• You need to have more tools/skills than just a firearm.
• A firearm is not a magic wand that will solve all problems or make all foes yield.
• Only use deadly force to SAVE a life.
